Let Wash Account Deletion

This page explains how to delete your Let Wash account and what happens to your data when you do. Let Wash is operated by Lets Wash, Inc.

How to request account deletion

  1. From the email address registered to your Let Wash account, send an email to info@letwash.com.

  2. Use the subject line "Delete My Account".

  3. In the body, include the phone number linked to your account (if any) so we can verify it belongs to you.

  4. We will confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.

You can also request deletion from inside the app under Settings → Account → Delete Account.

Deletion is permanent. Once your account is deleted, you will not be able to recover your profile, saved vehicles, or booking history.

What data is deleted

Within 30 days of your verified request, we permanently delete:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number

  • Your profile and login credentials

  • Saved vehicles and vehicle details

  • Saved favorites and preferred car washes

  • Search history and location history

  • App preferences and notification settings

  • Push notification tokens and device identifiers

What data is retained

Some information must be kept for legal, tax, and fraud-prevention reasons even after your account is deleted:

  • Transaction and payment records (booking amounts, dates, and the car wash you paid) — retained for 7 years as required by tax and accounting regulations. Payment card details are never stored by Let Wash; they are held by our payment processor, Stripe, under its own privacy policy.

  • Customer support correspondence — retained for 1 year to resolve disputes and chargebacks.

  • Records required by law (for example, to respond to a legal request or enforce our Terms of Service) — retained only for as long as the applicable legal obligation lasts.

Retained data is disconnected from your deleted profile and is not used for marketing or personalization. Once the retention period ends, it is permanently deleted.
